‘St Kilda Set’ features three tunes penned by Jenny on St Kilda. These are ‘Boat to Boreray’ inspired by a sunny, but choppy, boat trip to carry out a seabird census around Boreray and the sea stacks, Stack Anarmin and Stack Lee, in June 2016. ‘Glen Mor’ takes inspiration from the glen on the north of Hirta, which in the past was used for grazing cattle and growing crops. The final tune in this set is ‘Climbing Carn Mor’, which was inspired by the call of the Leach’s Petrel - Carn Mor is the site of a large Leach’s Petrel and Manx Shearwater colony, both of which feature in this tune.
